Biography

He was born on the 11th of Februrary, 1956 in the small town of Argenteuil on the Seine, a commune highly appreciated by the first impressionists. His background is from a family of engravers " La Monnaie of Paris ", porcelain paint designers and crafters of stone. At an early age he became interested in designing , always seeking perfection. He realized his artistic ability when his art master in the sixth form at school refused to believe that the author of these drawings had any future, so from then on, he rejected the rather limited artistic school education so that he could concentrate on and develop his own progression by his own means. He did his first sculptures in wood, but such was his respect for the spirit of the stone, that he dared not deviate from the path emanting from it's soul and stucture. He learned how to handle the quill and use water colours and with the precision and rigour it revealed the essence and detailed perfection of his work.

At the end of the 20th century and with this in mind his creative force hovers above the very delicate limits of sensitivity of his nature, a fragmented vacuum which complicates and increases the contrast and differnces between the abundance and the vacuity of the void. The willingness to place his work on a higher level without however weaking the dynamism of his lines of contour, reveals a search for the three-dimensional.

In the Palais Allégria where all the celebrated names of contemporary sculpture are gathered, de Sigaldi, Foln, Romano, Tomek, Tomasi de la Patellière, Ousouman Sow Curie, Bergomi, du BAarry, etc. He shares an equal and level forum with today's other famous sculptors of our time.

The matter idea changes after reflexion into idea of energy, we can thus consider that the forms result from the energy which they release.

The essence of my developed artistic thought is to perceive the fluid current of the kinetic movement in the matter. The main line of its curves is without end, as the flood of the brook invests each excavation, it explores the vacuity of ideological plans of forms thought and raw realities suitable for the history of the Human in his verticality.
